Tennis Betting

Tennis betting is one of the few sports that have a large global presence. Tennis is played in countries all around the world and there are over a dozen major tennis tournaments every year. The one thing that is great about betting on tennis is that the sport isn’t that diverse and it doesn’t take that long to learn the ins and outs of the game and players. There are several major tennis tours where you should focus all of your time on when betting on tennis. The tennis tours that you need to focus on when you’re just starting out as a tennis capper are as followed.

· ATP Tennis Tour – The ATP Tennis Tour consists of the best male tennis players in the world. There are over 50 different tournaments every season throughout different categories on the ATP tour including singles matches and double matches.

· WTA Tennis Tour – The WTA Tennis Tour consists of the best female tennis players in the world. Players from the WTA Tour are from all over the world and the tournaments are played all over the world. With lots of tournaments every year this is by far the most popular women’s tennis tour in the world.

Both the ATP Tennis Tour and the WTA Tennis Tour are by far the most popular tennis tours in the world. Every year there are four grand slam events that are played by players from both the ATP and WTA Tour. The four grand slam events easily are the most wagered on tennis tournaments every year. Below is a list of the four major grand slams that you want to look out for each year because these are the four tournaments where you should make the most amount of money.

· Australian Open – The Australian Open is played every January in Melbourne, Australia.

· French Open – The French Open is played every year in May/June in Paris, France

· Wimbledon – Wimbledon is played every year in June/July in the United Kingdom

· US Open – The US Open is played every year in August/September in New York City, United States

One of the downfalls about betting on tennis is that it can be difficult finding matches where you A) feel confident and B) are not paying too much juice. The problem with most tennis matches is that there will always be one player that has a distinct advantage over the other player and therefore the juice will be fairly high. If you have the bankroll to bet on the heavy favourites then I would definitely recommend it, but if you don’t then you need to find games with tennis odds under -200.

When you bet on tennis make sure you always look at the players stats before making your wager. You should look at how the players have been performing the past couple months as well as how they perform on certain courts. Some players are amazing on grass courts, but then they lack on clay courts. If you know these types of stats then you’re going to be able to make money betting on tennis. Make sure you also pay close attention to the World Rankings in tennis so you can see what players are on a upswing and what players are on a downswing.

Free Spin Bonuses at Casinos Assessed

Some online casinos such as Golden Casino offer free spin bonuses. The free spin bonus typically gives casino players a free hour of play on a slot machine. The goal of the free spin bonus is to accumulate as much winnings as possible. Theoretically, the player is permitted to keep the winnings. The reality is that the player must meet wager requirements prior to being able to withdrawal the bonus money won during the free spin session.

The free spin method of casino bonus is quite fun. The free spin bonus allows a player to make their own bonus by spinning the reels of a slot machine. The player has an hour to make as much money as possible. Often the player may quit anytime prior to the hour mark, providing the player has made more than one hundred spins. The money above the original starting amount turns into the player’s casino bonus money.

Just like a deposit bonus, the free slots online spin bonus has a wager requirement. Typically, a player who has earned bonus money must wager the bonus amount thirty times over. If a player wins $500 via the free spin bonus, they must wager a total of $15,000 before the money is eligible for cashout.

Typically, slots games as well as parlor games count fully towards the wager requirements. Unfortunately, many table games such as three card poker, Craps, Blackjack, and Video Poker games either do not count towards most wager requirements, or count partially. If a game counts partially towards the wager requirement, it means only a portion of the bet goes towards clearing your free spin bonus. For example, Roulette may only count 10% towards the wager requirement. For every $10 wagered on the roulette wheel, $1 is credited towards the player’s wager requirement.

Once the casino online player has met the wagering requirements for their free spins bonus, a player must have first made a deposit in order to be eligible to cash out their bonus money and winnings. With free spin bonuses, the deposit amount is typically smaller than with bonus money for match bonuses. It is common to see a minimal deposit satisfy the depositing requirement for the free spin bonus. Once the wager requirement is met and the deposit has been made, a player is free to cash out any free spin bonus money and deposit that remains in the player account.

While free spin bonuses have great upside potential, it is important a casino player first understand the conditions associated with the free spin bonus.

NBA: Who’s making the call?

As the new NBA betting season approaches us, there’s usually a tangible amount of excitement in the air. Less than a month out from pre-season, seeing all those familiar faces on new teams and new faces in the league gives us gamblers a chance to scout how everything’s coming together. We can see the rookies take shape, peek in on the big stars (Shaq, AI) lacing it up in a new jersey, and begin putting together our game plan during breaks between updating our fantasy football teams.

But there’s something quite different this year, isn’t there? We don’t know who’s going to be calling the games once the regular season begins. Although, currently, it looks like it won’t be the referees we’ve all come to know and hate. As always, it’s about money, and the union and the league seem to be so far apart, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were replacements in place all the way through June and beyond.

Having said that, I would take a cautious approach to gambling on the NBA during the first month, but not avoid the games altogether. For as much as we complain about the pro’s when they’re out there doing their thing, we all know having second-tier talent in any job is going to hurt the product as a whole, and in our case, we have to wonder if our lines will be handicapped by bad calls or vice versa.

It’s a legitimate concern, especially with the NBA’s heavy-handed home court advantage. What’s to say these other refs won’t get caught up in the moment of a crowd (you know it happens) and swing a call once way that leads to a team not covering.

There are some great stories in the NBA Odds this year, so it’s a shame that right now we have this overshadowing what should be speculation on whether Kobe can repeat, whether Lebron/Shaq is enough to get them past a healthy Celtics team, and who the next Chris Paul might be? Instead, we hear that David Stern has backed out of talks, and if they do resume, it’ll be without his presence. Nice, huh?

So take it slow, pick a game here or there as a test, bet maybe half what you’d normally put up, and we’ll all see how things go together. But don’t plan on these new refs calling traveling much, either.

NASCAR: Big moneymaker? Bet on it

Seems like every day the pool of serious sports gamblers looking to dip their feet into NASCAR betting grows exponentially. That being said, here’s a little guide to getting started in race car gambling, one that can pay off huge if you know what you’re doing.

One of the most popular and widely used forms of race car betting is simply to play the driver to win. This is also the simplest to learn, as it borrows much of its rules and strategy from straight line bets similar to other sports. Of course, it’s a much higher payoff if your favorite driver wins as opposed to your favorite team, since the odds are stacked so high against any one driver in any given race.

Let’s say you want to put $500 on Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win the next race. So you’d put up $500 to win, say, $4,000. You need to calculate the risk and the “break even” percentage to determine if the payoff is worth the risk. The “break even” percentage would be how many times the driver would have to win in order for you, the gambler, to break even. In this case, it’d be 1:9 or 11 percent.

This is an extremely risky method of gambling, though. Even the top names, the points leaders, are only going to give you a few to a handful of wins a season. So while the return might be like hitting a roulette number, you have to assess whether you want to take the risk.

A safer (and in my opinion more fun) bet is to gamble on driver vs. driver. This is exactly like playing the baseball money line. You’d see something like Driver A vs. Driver B. Driver A at -130, Driver B at +120 NASCAR Odds. This means you’d have to put 130 on Driver A to win 100, but if you put 100 on Driver B, you’d win 120. All the driver has to do under this wager is beat the other driver he’s up against in the bet, not win the race.

While you don’t have an entire team of players to study for NASCAR, you do need to stay up on race statistics, driving conditions and who’s hot and who’s not. Study up on the pit team while you’re at it. There are a few more bets that can be placed regularly that I’ll go into in a future article.

MLB Games for Wed. Sept. 23

The season’s online sports betting winding down folks, which means the predictable playoff bunch is among us. Surprise, surprise, it’s the Yankees, Red Sox, Angels and whoever manages to get thrown up by the Central in the AL (probably the Tigers), and the Dodgers, Phillies, Cardinals and let’s go with the Rockies right now out in the NL. I’m bored already. My only motivation outside of gambling is to root for Jim Thome to get a ring. Anyway…

Twins at White Sox: Going back to that huge, one-game playoff last year, one could’ve pinpointed this series as a season-defining moment for both teams trying to get back to the postseason. Instead, we get a possible spoiler game at best, and a worthless divisional matchup at worst. Buerhle, who with the exception of one win, decided to just take the rest of the season off after his perfect game. He’ll take his 12 wins and throw another one for the Sox. Sox fans at sportsbook.com are baffled by Mark, who pitched great the entire year, up to and including what will likely split with 2005 as his defining moment in the game, and then just fell off a cliff – inexplicably. Unless there’s an injury that wasn’t disclosed, it’s frightening that he’s still the team’s ace. Expect the Twins to keep him from reaching lucky number 13, even on the road. Neither team deserves to finish the season above .500 for how they’ve played, but the Twins probably will, just barely. They send Carl Pavano, who hasn’t been hurt, but his ERA smarts at 4.9, and his whip is average at 1.34. Still, for Pavano, those are decent numbers…better than DL, DL, DL. It’ll be a high-scoring game, so you can feel safe betting the over. The Sox will be a small favorite, but bet the Twins in the upset. Sox -120, Twins +110.

Onto a baseball betting game that matters, Yanks at Angels. The Yanks have home field all but locked up at this point, but there’s nothing like a late regular season matchup against potential playoff opponents to set the tone. Believe me, it’ll be fresh in everyone’s memory regardless of the outcome. The newly acquired Kazmir throws for the Angels, and brings his 5.3 ERA, 8-8 disappointing stats with him. Not sure why the Angels went after this guy, even if he has been historically better. He only has 100K this year, too, and a huge 1.46 whip means he’s walking guys left and right. AJ Burnett throws for the Yankees. With similar numbers to Kazmir, you can’t say he’s earned his money like Sabathia has this year. Still, he can still throw some fire, and he’ll be juiced up to prove down the stretch he was worth the investment. Also worth noting, though, is that for a team with such a strong record, the Yanks are 5-5 over the last 10 games started by Burnett. I like the Angels here in a high-scoring affair. Line could be a pick ‘em at -110 each.
